3 new support groups have opened their doors in Salford so why not go and check them out sometime soon.
They are in Cadishead, Lower Broughton and the Height – details can be found to the right

I just thought I’d say a massive THANK YOU to all you lovely people who have logged in and had a look at the site so far.  I’ve been overwelmed by the support I’ve had from Salford and beyond so keep checking in and seeing how the site develops.

The BBC reported today that Nutricia has been told that its advertisements were misleading to consumers and therefore illegal. Nutricia trade as both Cow and Gate and Milupa were told to remove advertisement that claimed they could “support the immune system”.

This artilce appeared in the Telegraph on 20th July:
Michael Kramer, a professor of paediatrics who has advised the World Health Organisation and Unicef, said that much of the evidence used to persuade mothers to breastfeed was out of date.
He said evidence that breastfeeding protects against obesity was flawed.
